SCHOOLCHILDREN enjoyed a slice of the action after a restaurant generously donated scores of pizzas.

Hungry pupils were rewarded after a hard day’s work at school with fresh pizzas from Ask Italian in Ship Street, Brighton, on Thursday.

Pupils from St Luke’s Primary School in Queen’s Park Rise, Brighton, as well as teachers, parents and carers, were full of smiles after the tasty treat.

The restaurant has newly reopened following an exterior refurbishment.

Passers-by in the street also received an unexpected cheesy treat with restaurant staff braving the cold to hand out free slices to anyone walking past the restaurant.
