Co-op set to open on site of former pub
A SUPERMARKET is preparing to move into the site of a former pub.
Southern Co-operative has applied for permission to install three illuminated signs as well as other branding to the former Atlas pub in Old Shoreham Road, Hove.
The pub closed last year but some residents opposed the arrival of the supermarket giant because of fears about its impact on the nearby post office and convenience store.
