Christmas has officially come to Brighton – with the arrival of the festive tree at the city’s station.
Commuters were full of festive cheer this morning after seeing the station Christmas tree in all its shiny glory – 30 days before December 25.
The tree follows the official turning on of the city’s Christmas tree lights in East Street earlier this month.
Ted Bancroft was one of the a number of residents who took to social media to voice their excitement of the countdown to Christmas.
He wrote: “It's up, it's up! All we need is a few Christmas tunes on the piano.” Meanwhile Hayley Maisey said: “I'm truly feeling festive now.
“Mind the Brighton station cat doesn't go for your baubles.”
