A BURGLAR has been jailed for 28 months after admitting three burglaries.

James Cannon, 37, of Church Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to the burglaries at Lewes Crown Court on Wednesday (November 19).

He stole cash, bank cards and jewellery in two burglaries during the evening of Tuesday August 19 at Marina, St Leonards, and the third on Saturday 16 August in Lower Park Road, Hastings.

Detective Sergeant Jason Tuck said: "The effect of a burglary upon a victim can be long lasting. I'm pleased that a custodial sentence has been delivered to James Cannon for these three separate incidents."
