A SHOPPING bonzana is expected today as stores slash prices for Black Friday.

Bargain hunters will be queuing up early to try and snatch savings as part of the now annual shopping event.

Retailers in Churchill Square will be offering discounts of as much as 80% off.

Participating Stores in the central Brighton shopping include HMV, H&M, Burton, Urban Outfitters, Levis, Aldo and more.

Asda has also promised their stores, including the one in Hollingbury and at the Brighton Marina, will offer “earthshattering” bargains. 

Discounts are reported include the latest Call of Duty game Advanced Warfare for only £25 and an Xbox 360 with Halo 4 and Forza Horizon for £99. 

A Polaroid 40inch TV will also be reduced to £139.

Analysts Verdict have predicted that 47 per cent of the UK's shoppers will pick up a bargain today.
Visa Europe has forecast that the country's shoppers will spend £360,000 a minute on their cards.

Black Friday has swept across the UK in the past few years and this year's sales extravaganza is predicted by analysts to be the biggest yet.

The event originated in the United States, and is the Friday following Thanksgiving, which is regarded as the start of the Christmas shopping season in America.
