The man wanted on suspicion of double-murder has been found and arrested.

A manhunt was launched in Sussex this morning after the bodies of Patrick and Gillian Kettyle were found in the quiet Surrey village of Fetcham.

Viktoras Bruzas was believed to have entered West Sussex some time after the discovery of the couple's bodies at 12.30am.

But after an extensive search Bruzas was eventually stopped by officers in Oxshott, Surrey, shortly after 6pm this evening.

He was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.

The 38-year-old Lithuanian, was driving a black Mercedes when he was stopped by officers.

Mr and Mrs Kettyle, who are in their 50s, were found by a member of the family, believed to be one of their teenage children, who was also at the house but was unharmed in the attack.

A knife with what appeared to be a bent and broken blade was later found in the street about 500 yards from the property.

Surrey Police has confirmed that Bruzas and the Kettyle family were known to each other and that their relationship forms an "important part" of their investigation.

A second man in his 30s was arrested in Walton-on-Thames earlier today on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and was later bailed.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Preston, from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, said: "This is a tragic incident which has shaken the close community in Fetcham.

"I hope the arrest this evening goes some way to reassure the public that we have been relentless in our efforts during this fast-moving and on-going investigation.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who assisted with the search of Viktoras Bruzas including members of the public and the media."
