FORMER TV presenter Johnny Ball dropped in on a primary school for a special science and maths lesson.
The 76-year-old was at Firle Church of England School, in The Street, Firle, yesterday.
The youngsters were transfixed as he took them through a series of interactive demonstrations in order to explain the fundamentals of the subjects.
Mr Ball, the father of presenter Zoe Ball, was a regular fixture on children’s TV in the 1970s and 1980s.
He presented several series of popular science and technology programmes including Think of a Number, Think Again, Think Backwards, Think...This Way and Johnny Reveals All.
The visit was part of a week of special science and maths events put on by the school.
