FIVE more motorists face drink-driving charges after being arrested this week.

Richard Faithfull, 24, Oak Close, Borden, Kent, was arrested after police stopped him on suspicion of speeding in Sylvan Road, Crawley, at 11.30pm on Tuesday [16/12]. He was charged with drink-driving and released on bail before appearing at Crawley Magistrates' Court on January 14.

Charlotte Costello, 23, of St Peters, Chichester, was arrested at 12.20am on Wednesday [17/12] after a crash in Clay Lane, Chichester. She was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates' Court on February 3.

Jason Hanmer, 27, of Chandlers Field Drive, Haywards Heath, was arrested at 1.55am on Wednesday [17/12] after officers saw him leave a casino and get into a car in Grand Junction Road, Brighton. He was charged with drink-driving and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on February 11.

Phillip Gorringe, 65, of Christie Avenue, Ringmer, was arrested at 4.30pm on Wednesday [17/12] in Springett Avenue, Ringmer, after officers were passed information that he could be drink-driving. He was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on February 11.

Kim Hemingway, 46, of Carden Avenue, Brighton, was arrested at 6.55pm on Wednesday [17/12] after a crash in Ladies Mile Road, Brighton. She was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on February 11.

So far 54 people have been charged in Sussex Police’s December campaign.
