A woman was cut free from her car by firefighters after crashing into bushes.
Emergency services were called to London Road, Hassocks, shortly before 1.40 this morning.
As well as paramedics and police, fire crews from Hurstpierpoint, Burgess Hill and Worthing attended the crash.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to free the trapped motorist before she was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
There were no other vehicles involved.
