ARMY reservists spent the weekend learning new skills in urban operations.
Soldiers from the 3rd Battalion The Princess Of Wales’s Royal Regiment (3PWRR) honed skills in defence and attack in built-up areas, entry drills, building clearing, patrolling and surveillance.
The training took place at the Army’s training village in Copehill Down on Salisbury Plain. The soldiers were also paid a visit from the Minister for Reserves Mr Julian Brazier.
More than 120 members of 3PWRR’s five companies, located throughout the south east of England, were in attendance.
The regiment, also known as the Tigers, recruits officers and soldiers from Sussex and the rest of the South East.
