A 46-year-old man has been released without charge after being arrested on suspicion of robbing a 75-year-old woman.
The man went to Brighton police station at 6.30pm on December 31 after hearing about the investigation into the robbery in Whitehawk Way, Brighton, on December 17.
A police spokesman said he was arrested on suspicion of robbery and questioned but released without charge.
Police continue to investigate the crime, in which the great-grandmother was robbed of a £200 pension.
