Concern is growing for a missing Albanian girl who has not been seen for more than two weeks.

Junilda Koca, 17, has not been seen since she left an address she was staying in Worthing since the morning of January 8.

Junilda, who looks older than 17, is described as 5' 2" with very long brown hair, brown eyes, and a pale complexion, She was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, knee-length suede brown boots and a three-quarter length dark coat. She had with her two bags or holdalls, one of which is of Luis Vuitton style.

She had arrived unaccompanied at Gatwick from Albania on Tuesday January 6 and following an assessment by UK Immigration and police, working with social services, she was placed into local authority care while further enquiries were carried out.

Junilda doesn't speak much English and has no contacts or next of kin in this country. Police have been working with UK Immigration and missing person charities to try to trace her.

PC Mark Green said: "There is no evidence at this stage that Junilda has come to any harm, but we are increasingly concerned for her welfare as her disappearance is unexplained and she is clearly vulnerable.

"If you have seen her or know where she may be, please contact us via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting Sussex serial 733 of January 8."
