A MISSING teenager who was suspected of being the victim of abduction has been found safe and well.

Rhys Millerchip went into a police station in Kent in the early hours of Saturday morning after going missing from Seaford more than three weeks ago.

A man and a woman have both been arrested on suspicion of abducting a child in care.

A 33-year-old woman from Nuneaton was arrested on Thursday by Warwickshire Police on suspicion of conspiracy to abduct a child in care and a 38-year old man was arrested the following day on suspicion of the same offence.

The pair have been released on bail and will have to report to police in Eastbourne on April 21.

Fourteen-year-old Rhys went missing after walking through Seaford town centre on the morning of Tuesday December 30.

In an appeal launched by Sussex Police a few days ago, the force said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance but that he was vulnerable because of his age and urged him to get in touch.

Officers thought the youngster may have travelled to Warwickshire although enquiries were also carried out around London as Rhys is known to have family and friends in the Sidcup and Welling areas.
