HOT ON the heels of last year’s production of Grease, the Brighton Theatre Group Youth is set to perform one of the biggest musicals on earth.
The group will take over The Corn Exchange in Church Street, Brighton, to bring West Side Story to the stage from February 4 to 8.
The 70-strong cast will be under the direction of Michael Burnie and the dance routines will be the work of acclaimed choreographer Jodie Michelle.
Musical co-ordinators Jo Barnes and Gary Lynn will be in charge of the band, alongside conductor Ellen Campbell.
There will be matinee performances on February 5, 7 and 8 at 2.30pm, while evening performances get under way at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the box office by calling 01273 709709.
