A popular music festival has confirmed its return for the fifth year running.

Shakedown returns to Waterhall in Brighton on Saturday August 15 – and with it four huge brands hosting four different stages.

Electronic music giants Defected, Hospitality, Digital Soundboy and Supercharged will all host their own part of the festival, which last year welcomed more than 20,000 music lovers.

Since its creation in 1998, Defected have been at the forefront of the house music scene, discovering dozens of breakthrough artists and records from the likes of MK, Inner City, Copyright, Kings of Tomorrow and Roger Sanchez.

Digital Soundboy, which makes its debut at Shakedown this year, is the brainchild of Drum and Bass and Jungle pioneer Shy FX, while fellow Drum and Bass label Hospitality will be on hand to share its almost two decades of musical education with the Shakedown crowd.

Finally, the bass-driven Supercharged stage makes its inaugural appearance after hosting the likes of Zane Lowe, Knife Party and Sub Focus last year.

Limited early bird tickets are on sale now priced at £40 plus booking fee for standard and £65 plus booking fee for VIP.

The ‘Raver Saver’ group deal is also back - buy four tickets and the fifth is free.

Shakedown offers a free shuttle bus both to and from the festival from central Brighton for ticket holders.

The festival’s full line-up will be announced soon.
