A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has been hospitalised after he fell 20 feet from a cliff.
Emergency services were called to the scene after the child had fallen while playing on rocks near the West Hill Cafe in Hastings.
Paramedics worked to stabilise the boy and the rope rescue team from East Sussex Fire and Rescue was deployed at 12.36pm today.
The rescue operation lasted an hour and the air ambulance was scrambled but stood down.
The boy was taken by land ambulance to hospital in London.
He suffered non-life threatening head injuries.
