SNOW fell across Sussex over the weekend – with more of the white stuff expected today.

There was snow on both Saturday and Sunday for many parts of the county.

In Angmering, three-year-old Isabelle donned her coat and wellies as she made her first snowman in her back garden.

But it was not all fun and games, with sub-zero temperatures and icy conditions leading to disruption on the trains and buses.

Brighton and Hove Bus Company had to alter a number of services along with Southern Rail.

A yellow weather warning for ice and snow remains in place for East Sussex today, with another for Wednesday.

The warning is the Met Office’s lowest grade, urging people to “be aware”.

A spokesman for the Met Office said that some heavy snow showers are possible over the next few days.

However the snow is much more likely to settle away from coastal areas.
