TWO men have been arrested after police chase ended with a collision with a parked car.
A pair of men was disturbed whilst trying to break into a parked van in the car park of the Sandman Hotel, Crawley Avenue, Crawley at 8.25pm on Thursday night.
They made off in a silver Volvo S30 and after a brief police pursuit of less than ten minutes the car collided with a parked car in The Birches nearby and was abandoned in the garden of a house there.
The occupants made off but following an immediate police search of the area with the assistance of a police helicopter and dog unit, two men were arrested in gardens of a houses in adjacent Rye Ash.
Two men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
