A GIDDY bride to be looks shocked as her boyfriend gets down on one knee in a photo booth.

But the loved up couple must have let romance go to their heads and dropped the photographic evidence of their engagement on the way home from a night out.

Kim Wesley Slade found the strip of photos taken in a photo booth at the Merkaba in Brighton and set about tracing the owners.

Kim posted a picture of the photos on Facebook and pleaded: “Does anyone know this couple? We found this in the back of a taxi. They got engaged in the photo booth at Merkaba in Brighton.

“It would be awesome to get the original pics back to them.”

The bar – which is in the ground floor of MyHotel in Jubilee Street, posted the pictures from the photo booth on their website and Facebook page – and the gushing fiancee found her pictures.

Bride to be Laura Somers said: “This is me and my fiancé.

“I was so happy he did it in the photo booth and captured our special moment but after a few too many drinks celebrating I somehow managed to drop it in the taxi and was devastated. I would love to have the original copy back.”

Laura is understood to have now been reunited with the original prints of her precious memory.

And workers at the bar offered their congratulations to the couple.

They said: “Congratulations to Laura Somers and her fiancée who got engaged in the Merkaba photobooth.

“And thank you to Kim Slade, who found the photo in a taxi and spread the word to bring the original back to them.

“We'd like to invite the happy couple to join us for a bottle of champagne on us, to congratulate you on your engagement.”
