NUNS on the run are needed to help out at an event.

Theatre company Burn The Curtain is on the lookout for “nuns” to take part in stewarding its Brighton Festival 2015 performance, entitled The Company Of Wolves.

The former Argus Angel award-winner is seeking volunteers to don a habit and take part in the promenade theatre adventure created for runners and walkers across Stanmer Park on May 7-9.

The outdoor adventure turns Angela Carter’s macabre imagination into a spine-tingling experience for theatre-goers.

The tale unfolds as people progress along a pre-determined route between two and five miles long, depending on which path and what pace you choose.

The nuns will need to keep the runners and walkers in line and stop them straying from the path.

Joe Hancock, artistic director of Burn The Curtain, said: “A sense of rhythm and great dance moves is useful but not essential... and a look of grim determination or abject fear is an asset.”

Those interested in helping steward the event as a nun should email Joe Hancock at info@burnthecurtain.co.uk before Tuesday.
