Car fire drama on the A23
Firefighters were called to extinguish a car that burst into flames on the A23.
Police called the fire service to the burning car on the southbound carriageway near Sayers Common at 9.43pm last night.
The car, which was completely gutted by the blaze, was doused by 10.23pm.
There were no reported injuries and the fire was started accidentally.
