ORIGAMI dogs expertly folded from £10 notes could be flooding the streets for lucky passers-by.
Insurance company Beagle Street could bring their cash hounds to the streets in Brighton and Hove after people went mad for money-mutts when they were released on London.
£5000 worth of the dogs could be in Brighton this week but the city needs to defeat Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester in an online vote.
A team of experts spent over 125 hours folding 500 paper canines and should Brighton win they will be randomly distributed across the city.
To vote for Brighton go to www.facebook.com/beaglestreet or use twitter hashtag #ReleaseThePounds.
The stunt by the company is to highlight research that reveals the average person overpays on their life insurance premium by £109 a year.
Matthew Gledhill, managing director of Beagle Street, said: “Hopefully our £10 note Beagles will put a smile on people’s faces and pounds back into their pockets.”
