A cathedral has reached new heights with a latest work of art.
Chichester Cathedral has installed a painting by artist Anna Freeman Bentley which is 11 metres tall and comprises eight panels.
The artist made the painting of a flight of stairs, entitled Descent, in 32 hours over two days.
The painting is on display in the cathedral’s North Transept until June 12.
The cathedral is open seven days a week and entry is free, along with free guided tours.
