KATIE Price is facing a court trial after her car was allegedly caught jumping a red light.

The star is also accused of not telling police if she had been driving the vehicle.

Price’s £120,000 Bentley Continental was caught by a camera on the A24 at West Grinstead, near Horsham, last August.

It happened about two miles from her home.

Worthing magistrates were told the 36-year-old star and mother-of-five was unsure who had been driving the vehicle at the time.

Price did not have to attend court and sent two not guilty pleas by post.

The case will now be heard at Worthing Magistrates Court on July 3.

Price won the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, beating controversial columnist Katie Hopkins into second place.

The Patcham-born star is a familiar face on reality television, having twice appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! and starred in a number of her own series about her life.

The former glamour model, who went to Patcham High School, has often been seen driving around Sussex in a pink Range Rover and was recently named as an outsider to replace Jeremy Clarkson as host of Top Gear. In 2012 she had a driving ban overturned at Croydon Crown Court after previously being given six penalty points and banned from being on the road for 12 months.

She had been found guilty of two counts of failing to give information regarding a driver’s identity as required after failing to respond to speeding tickets regarding offences in London in September 2011.

The model said she had not seen the speeding tickets because she claimed she didn’t open her own post.
