A MAN was rescued from a beach by a lifeboat after being cut off by the tide.
Brighton inshore lifeboat Random Harvest was launched at just after noon yesterday to a man cut off by the rising tide at Peacehaven.
The lifeboat crew quickly located the man and took him off the beach and back to Brighton Lifeboat Station.
Roger Cohen, Lifeboat Operations Manager of Brighton Lifeboat, has warned visitors to the coast to be aware of rising tides when walking along unfamiliar coastlines in light of the incident.
