A Royal Marine commando will take to the stage in the West End just weeks after winning a TV charity dancing show.
Cassidy Little, who won BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing for Comic Relief this month, will perform live in London as a member of EXPLOSION – a touring show featuring traditional flamenco with song and dance from Bulerias to Farrucas and Tangos.
Cassidy, pictured fifth from left in the top row, lost his lower right leg while serving in Afghanistan. He joined his talented fellow cast members for rehearsals at Rox Studio in Hove yesterday.
Jay Markwick, the show’s choreographer and producer, said: “I saw a YouTube clip of his paso doble and just thought he was amazing, especially to have learned the dance so quickly. I am excited.
“Cassidy’s strength and character will play this part perfectly”.
