A van got stuck on scaffolding after the metal bar became embedded in its side as it took a corner.
Traffic was disrupted this morning as the box van collided with the scaffolding at the junction of Guildford Road and Terminus Road near Brighton Station.
The van took the corner and scaffolding bar ripped into its side - trapping it on the corner.
The scaffolding crew on the side worked to help remove the van and no one was injured in the incident.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "At 7.25am on Friday (24 April) a box van was in collision witrh scaffolding at the junction of Guildford Road with the A2010 Terminus Road, Brighton.
"The incident, close to Brighton railway station, caused some traffic delays while scaffolders on site helped to extricate the vehicle. No one was hurt."
