A thief has brazenly stolen a charity box belonging to The Argus's charity.
A white male walked into front reception of Argus House in Hollingbury this afternoon at 4.15pm.
He looked around the reception area and after spotting the red Argus Appeal charity container stuffed it down the front of his trousers.
He then left the building moments afterwards.
Argus employee Howie Blanks challenged the man outside the Hollingbury headquarters but the man claimed he only entered the building to ask if there was a toilet he could use.
Sussex Police are investigating the crime and are appealing for anyone who knows the man pictured in the CCTV image to contact them on 101 or email 101@sussex.police.pnn.uk
