CONCERN is growing for the safety of an autistic teenage boy who has gone missing from his home in St Leonards.

Police say Reece Pateman, 14, is fascinated with trains and buses and has previously been found at railway stations in Sussex and London.

He was last seen at his home at 1.20pm on Sunday (April 26).

Missing persons co-ordinator Shannon Marchesani said: "There is no evidence at this stage to suggest that any harm has befallen him, but we are concerned for him because he is autistic and his age."

Reece, who is described as 5' 4", of medium build, with ginger hair and blue eyes, has a fair complexion and was wearing a blue hoody and possibly grey jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Anyone who has seen Reece or knows where he may have gone is asked to contact police via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 0636 of 26/04.

Police said he was found safe and well in London on April 28.
