Fringe Club The Warren Bar: Nielsen Stage, St Peter’s Church, Brighton, Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 31, various times, free OTHERPLACE Productions are launching two new late night Fringe venues this year. The Late Show at their year-round home in Kensington Street will feature planned and impromptu entertainment from across the Fringe, mixing comedy, music and cabaret. And The Warren Bar’s Nielsen Stage has a programme of live music each evening, including previous On The Radar stars The Fiction Aisle on Wednesday, May 6, from 10pm.

Copperdollar Club Night Brighton Spiegeltent, Old Steine Pleasure Gardens, Friday, May 1, 9pm, £12/£10 TAKING inspiration from Mexico’s Day Of The Dead, Copperdollar’s distinctive take on a party has previously been a highlight of Glastonbury Festival’s after hours scene, mixing dancing, acting, booze and tunes ranging from ska to funk.

Guilty Pleasures Brighton Spiegeltent, Old Steine Pleasure Gardens, Saturday, May 2, 10pm, £10/£8 OVER the last decade Sean Rowley’s club night based around the songs you really shouldn’t like has become a genuine phenomenon. Singalong pop you feel ashamed at loving from the likes of Hanson, Whitney Houston and Buggles will be accompanied by dancers and cabaret from Sparklemotion and Father Oates.

5... English Disco Lovers Brighton Spiegeltent, Old Steine Pleasure Gardens, Sunday, May 3, 10pm, £7/£6 FIRST emerging in Brighton around the time of the English Defence League’s seafront marches, this EDL preaches the mantra “don’t hate – gyrate”. Expect the best in classic and underground disco in the first of two visits to Brighton Spiegeltent this year. And look out for them on the march in Fringe City on Sunday afternoon.

Treason Show Election Special Rialto Theatre, Dyke Road, Thursday, May 7, 10pm, £15 SOMETHING of an alternative night for the political junkie, The Treason Show will be hosting a night of up-to-the-minute political satire, before launching an after party as the first election results start to come in.
