A CATSUIT clad singer who became one of the fastest contestants ever to be voted off Britain’s Got Talent is now a hot ticket for gigs.

Juice FM presenter Guy Lloyd took to the television last weekend on the hit ITV show only to get voted off by the celebrity judges in a matter of seconds.

Wearing a gold catsuit and performing under the name Vince Venus, Mr Lloyd sang just the opening few bars of the Queen classic I Want to Break Free before the judges booted him off the stage.

But despite not pleasing Simon Cowell, Mr Lloyd has revealed he has now been getting offers to perform shows across the city.

He said: “I knew what I was letting myself in for and I knew they could buzz me at anytime – I just wanted to give it a go really.

“Despite the fact I was buzzed off really quickly it has gone mad – I have had national attention and offers for gigs to sing the song in full.

“I am a terrible singer but I always wanted to have a go. I did prepare and I had some lessons beforehand.

He added: “I have been offered a couple of slots at Cabaret Nights but I would love to get on to the main stage at Brighton Pride.”

Talking about his experience on the show he said Ant and Dec were “everything you ever wanted” and praised the efforts of the contestants.

He added he also received a number of wolf whistles from members of the audience who were fans of his catsuit.

To any prospective Britain’s Got Talent contestants, he said: “Go into it with an open mind and you must be pretty thick skinned. The whole process to get in front of the judges was about three months.

“I do not think I could handle the pressure doing it all again. I would not put myself forward again but if they gave me a call back I would think about it.”
