A DOG bit a man on the leg as he walked past in a lane.
The 55-year old Wadhurst man was walking his own dog on a lead in Bewlbridge Lane, Lamberhurst, on Wednesday [20/5] at 5.15pm when another dog, described as a brown and black Staffie-type breed, came up and bit him on the leg, puncturing the skin.
The dog was not on a lead and was with a woman described as plump, white, in her mid-thirties, about 5ft 2ins tall, with dark tied-back hair and wearing maroon leggings and a cream and white blouse, police said.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting 1208 of 21/5.
