FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from a house after the kitchen caught fire.
The man was suffering from smoke inhalation and checked over at the scene by paramedics.
Three engines from Brighton attended the fire in Nuthurst Place, Brighton, at 6.30am this morning.
No details were immediately available as to the man's age and condition.
