FANS are being given another chance to get their hands on a golden ticket to see world-class rugby in Brighton.

The International Rugby Board has announced an upcoming further opportunity to buy tickets for 26 Rugby World Cup 2015 matches including both games at the American Express Community Stadium.

The tickets will go on general sale on Thursday via tickets.rugbyworld cup.com. The tickets are a mixture of handbacks from the Rugby World Cup Limited commercial programme, further seats following venue configuration and tickets that have been registered through the Official Rugby World Cup 2015 Resale Programme.

Around 100,000 tickets will go on sale next week, in addition to the 30,000 tickets currently on general sale, with matches available across all 13 venues and for all 20 teams. Sussex-based rugby fans could see South Africa take on Japan at the Amex on Saturday, September 19 at 4.45pm or Samoa v USA a day later at noon.

Stephen Brown, England Rugby 2015 managing director, said: “With less than four months to go the excitement for the tournament is building and we are pleased to be able to offer fans another chance to purchase tickets.”

Fans with tickets but unable to attend matches can use the official ticket resale service at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com.

Tickets are also available via the official travel and hospitality programmes at rugbyworldcup.com/ticketing.
