Eastbourne seafront
A WOMAN’S body was found on a beach this morning.
Police and coastguard went to the scene on Eastbourne seafront just after 6am.
Officers are working to identify the woman, believed to be in her late 60s or early 70s.
The woman may have been in the sea for a short time before she died.
It is understood a member of the public out walking along the seafront saw the woman’s body and raised the alarm.
