Princess Anne was guest of honour at the opening of a new care home yesterday.
The Princess Royal cut the ribbon at the Ashley Place care home run by charity Livability in Bognor.
The Princess Royal was met by the Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex, the High Sheriff and senior councillors before being taken on a tour of the building.
Livability has supported disabled people in Bognor since 1892.
The Princess Royal said: “The ability to be here since 1892 is no mean track record. There’s quite a lot of experience which has been gained over that period of time which Livability has the advantage on, and I hope all of that comes together.
“You can feel that all of that has come together here at Ashley Place.”
