THREE teenagers have been arrested after a shopkeeper was attacked during a robbery. 

At Macfarlane's newsagents in Southwick Square, Southwick, three people entered the shop and attacked a member of staff at 5.25am on Tuesday. 

They stole bottles of wine and cash from the till before they fled. 

The shopkeeper suffered bruising to his back and arm.

Dominic Abnett, 18, of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery, burglary and possession of a bladed item.

A 16-year-old boy from Portslade and a 16-year-old boy from Horsham have also been charged with robbery.

All three appeared in Crawley Magistrates Court today.
