BOUNCING children raised £180 for their pre-school.
Youngsters who attend See Saw Pre-School in New Church Road, Hove, had an excuse to jump on a bouncy castle as much as possible during the fundraising event.
They were challenged to collect donations with the help of parents and see how many times they could bounce in a minute.
The money will go towards equipment for the not-for-profit organisation.
Around 50 people attended and also took part in activities like guess the name of the teddy bear and guess the number of sweets in a jar. There was also nail painting and cupcakes provided by The Gluten Free Cake Kitchen, in Osborne Villas, and brownies from Upper Crust, in Richardson Road.
Pre-school manager Laura Wragg said: "It was a brilliant day. We want to thank everyone for the donations we received, including from Anna's Bouncy Castle who kindly gave us a discount for the castle.
"The children had a great time and we are very grateful for the money raised."
The pre-school's next event is a 'new and pre-loved' sale on August 8 from noon until 3pm at the pre-school. Members of the public and parents are invited to set up a stall and sell clothes and other items in an event sponsored by Mishon Welton estate agents in Hove.
Entry costs £1 and there is a goodie bag for the first 100 families attending.
