Thieves steal sentimental tree from garden
THIEVES who snatched a five-foot tall tree with “great sentimental value” are being hunted by detectives.
The Acer tree was stolen overnight on July 19 or in the early hours of July 20 from a garden in Colwood Crescent, Eastbourne.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “The tree was of great sentimental value to the householder.”
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 923 of July 20.
