A DRIVER ploughed a lonely furrow to the sea after crashing through protective barriers and onto a beach.
The female driver lost control of her automatic car, crashing off Sea Road at East Preston and ending up in a car park for one at the water’s edge.
Sussex Police officers were called at 10.05am today after the woman drove her Mitsubishi car through a bollard and onto the beach.
Fortunately she and any beach goers were uninjured in the incident and a recovery truck was able to be winch the vehicle back onto the road.
