A third man has been arrested on suspicion of murder over the disappearence of Mark Manning.

A 42-year old from West Worthing, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday.

After being interviewed he was also released on bail on Thrusday evening (13 August) until 15 October while enquiries continue.

Mark, 54, of Brighton Road, was last seen on 19 April 2014 before his family reported him missing on 22 April.

Two men, previously arrested on suspicion of murder by detectives investigating the disappearance of Lancing man Mark Manning, also answered bail on Thursday and were further interviewed.

The 39-year-old Worthing man and the 50-year-old man from Portslade had been arrested in May, questioned and released on bail.

On Thursday evening  they were released on bail until 15 October while enquiries continue.

Officers launched a murder investigation last June. More than a year on and despite extensive proof of life enquiries and searches, no one has reported hearing from or seeing Mark. His body has not been found.
