Police are seeking witnesses to a three-car crash on the B2036, Balcombe Road, near Horley, which happened just after 5pm yesterday.
It involved three cars: a blue Volkswagen Passat, driven by a 28-year-old man from Crawley; a black Peugeot 307, driven by a 66-year-old woman from Horley, and a silver Mazda 2, driven by a 22-year-old woman, also from Horley.
Both women suffered shock, and the younger woman was taken to East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, with minor injuries. The man driving the VW was unhurt.
The crash led to the road being closed while the scene, near the Jai Ho restaurant on the Surrey/Sussex border, was cleared.
