A man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Bexhill on Friday (28 August).
Paul Withers, 21, from Bexhill, is accused of killing 20-year-old Lauren Masters, at her flat in Sutherland Avenue, Bexhill. The couple were known to each other.
He is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court on Monday (31 August).
Police were called to a report of a disturbance at the flat at 1.35pm. The victim died from a stab wound at the scene.
Detective Chief Inspector Mike Ashcroft, of the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, said: "We are appealing to anyone who heard any disturbance or saw anything suspicious around this time on Friday (29 August) in Sutherland Avenue or the surrounding area to contact police.
"Also we would like to hear from anyone who has any other information which could assist this investigation."
