Thieves broke into a house and stole jewellery and kitchen appliances while the occupier was on holiday.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary in Hurdis Road, Bishopstone, Seaford, between Wednesday, August 19, and 10am on Saturday, August 22.
The occupant was away on holiday when suspects broke the front and the back door and made a untidy search of the house.
A number of jewellery items were stolen including four gold rings, two pearl necklaces and a gold patterned cross on a gold chain. A Magimix food processor, a Delonghi kettle and a set of lime green kitchen scales were also stolen.
Detective Constable Richie Davidson said: "Please contact us if you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Bishopstone area of Seaford."
