FATBOY Slim has stepped in at the last-minute to play a “family theme park unsuitable for children”.
Hove-based DJ Norman Cook has stepped in to play at Dismaland – the art exhibition organised by street artist Banksy at the derelict Tropicana in Weston-super-Mare.
Described as “a supply DJ from Brighton”, the DJ will take to the decks after DJ Dapper Dan pulled out of his performance on Saturday due to scheduling issues.
The father-of-two told BBC 6 Music that he had been trawling through the Disney back catalogue to find tunes to subvert it in the same manner that Dismaland tries to subvert fairytale images.
