TENS of thousands of bike enthusiasts hit the seafront for a motorbike extravaganza.
The annual Brighton Burn Up took place yesterday (sun Sep 13) as bikers rode from London to Brighton to take part in the event.
The celebration, also known the Ace Cafe Reunion Run, was set up to celebrate the motorcycling world’s mods and rockers era.
Ace Cafe is the famous bikers’ cafe on the North Circular Road in London.
It was built as a cafe for road hauliers in the 1930s but later became the favourite haunt of Britain’s motorcyclists and a part of teenage culture and post-war rock ‘n’ roll.
It closed in 1969 before reopening in 1997.
It is the 22nd year the event has been staged and regularly attracts people from around the world.
