INTERNET sensations have been immortalised in wax for the first time.

Replicas of two of the country's most influential YouTube video bloggers Alfie Deyes and Zoe Sugg have gone on display as waxworks at Madame Tussauds in London.

Bosses of the attraction said the figurines - of

Brighton's celebrity internet couple, the Girl Online fashion and beauty vlogger Zoella and her boyfriend and fellow vlogger Alfie - who are jointly known as Zalfie - reflect the popularity of this new genre of celebrity.

The pair appear in a special YouTube section of the tour at the London attraction.

To keep an element of reality the Brighton couple have donated their own clothes for the models to wear and have been involved in how they are styled.

They will be closely followed by models of Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran, who were measured up by the museum's sculptors earlier this year.

Madame Tussauds general manager Ben Sweet said: “We are delighted to be working with Alfie and Zoe. It’s a first for the attraction and reflects just how huge these YouTube stars are.”

Earlier this year the pair posed for the clay moulds which were used to form the wax creations.

They will be portrayed as their millions of fans are used to seeing them on the internet, lounging on their bed in their spare bedroom uploading content to their massively popular channels.

The pair live in a £1 million five bedroom mansion in Brighton.

Miss Sugg, 25, launched her Tutti Fruity beauty range earlier this year at Superdrug at Churchill Square in Brighton.

The brightly coloured products items with names like Let’s Spirtz Body Mist and Candy Cream Body Lotion sold out at the store on the very first day as Miss Sugg posed for selfies with her fans.

Last year, Miss Sugg made the transition from screen to page as she released her debut novel Girl Online – telling the story of a teenage blogger and what happens when her blog goes viral. But she said the book “is in no way autobiographical” and it is widely known she had help from her publishing editorial team.
