Police are looking for this man who left £415 worth of meat in a trolley when chased by security guards is being hunted by police.
The force has released a CCTV image of the man they want to speak to in connection with the theft from Marks and Spencer in Upper Shoreham Road, Shoreham.
Officers were called at 2.20pm on Wednesday, September to a report a man had tried to make off with a trolley full of meat.
The suspect left the store at about 1pm without paying and was approached by security guards in the car park.
He then abandoned the trolley and ran off, leaving the meat behind.
Response Investigator Tracy Wilson said: "We would also like to speak with anyone who may have seen something suspicious on the day.
"Witnesses can email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting reference 0718 of 16/09."
