THREE Polish men were attacked and robbed by a large group of youths.
Police were called to Hartfield Park, Eastbourne, just before 9pm yesterday where three Polish men - two aged 20 and one aged 24 - had been attacked by a large group of youths and had cash and mobile phones stolen from them.
One of the victims suffered a gash to his head and needed stitches to the wound.
Detective Sergeant Bonnie Cowley of Eastbourne CID said: "This was a nasty and unprovoked attack, carried out after dark, and we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have noticed anything suspicious."
Anyone who saw what happened or who may have other information about the incident is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.co.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1514 of 08/10.
