A GIRL was with friends on a town green when she was cornered by ten men and sexually assaulted as one of them brandished a knife.
Police investigating a sexual assault by touching at Broadwater Green, Worthing, have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
It happened between 11pm and midnight on Friday, 2 October, while a 17-year-old foreign student was with her friends.
They were approached by a group of 10 men of Middle Eastern appearance, five of whom touched the girl over her clothing.
When she resisted, one of the group produced a knife and pointed it at her, but she managed to break away and flee.
Anyone who saw what happened, or who may be able to identify any of the offenders, is asked to come forward.
